Football Recap: Howell North Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Howell North's offense. They were dealt a 48-0 defeat at the hands of the Howell Vikings on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Vikings are ranked 25th).

Howell North's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Howell, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howell North will head out to challenge Timberland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Howell, they will square off against Fort Zumwalt West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars' defense has only allowed 15 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them.
