Baseball Game Preview: Whitney Wildcats vs. Davis Sr. Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Whitney will face off against Davis Sr.. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Whitney's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Davis Sr. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Lucas O'Neill looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He is becoming a predictor of Whitney's success: when he allows at most three hits the team is 5-1 (and 5-15 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Whitney got a massive performance out of Gavyn Dulaney, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Dulaney has become a key player for the Wildcats: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 7-16 otherwise.
