Volleyball Recap: Coolidge Bears vs. Seton Catholic Sentinels
Coolidge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seton Catholic Sentinels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sentinels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 8th.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 24-26, 25-17.
Despite the defeat, Coolidge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Valeria Casillas had three digs and two aces. Tamryn Neal also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
Coolidge's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Seton Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
