Basketball Game Preview: Camden-Frontier Redskins vs. Pittsford Wildcats

Camden-Frontier hasn't had much luck against Pittsford recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Camden-Frontier Redskins will take on the Pittsford Wildcats in a tournament on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Camden-Frontier picked up another tournament win on Monday. They came out on top against Will Carleton Academy by a score of 31-22. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redskins.

Meanwhile, Pittsford put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past Waldron to the tune of 58-31. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Pittsford pushed their record up to 22-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.1 points on average over those games. As for Camden-Frontier, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.

Camden-Frontier ended up a good deal behind Pittsford when the teams last played back in February, losing 50-32. Can Camden-Frontier avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
