Softball Recap: Stadium Starts off Right with Win over Cascade Christian

Stadium had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Cascade Christian Cougars 13-3 on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.

The team relied heavily on London Kim, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and two triples. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Erickson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Cascade Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Stadium will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on River Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cascade Christian, they will take on Elma at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
