Baseball Game Preview: Brocton Bulldogs vs. Pine Valley Central Panthers

The Brocton Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Pine Valley Central Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games Brocton has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Brocton turned things around against Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama on Tuesday. They skirted past the Wolfpack 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since May 7, 2024.

Meanwhile, Pine Valley Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama, falling 14-0.

Pine Valley Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camryn Slade, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Pine Valley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Brocton, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6.
