Softball Recap: Bishop Moore Has No Trouble Against Lake Highland Prep

Bishop Moore won the last time they faced Lake Highland Prep and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hornets blew past the Highlanders 15-3.

Bishop Moore let Ariana Lara and Carolina Rusnik run wild. Lara scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Rusnik scored a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Rusnik a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sabrina Griffin, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Bishop Moore's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Lake Highland Prep, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Bishop Moore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-5 loss against Harmony on the 2nd. As for Lake Highland Prep, they will take on Trinity Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
