Miller is 7-1 against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rustlers will be playing at home against the Titans at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Miller proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Parkston 3-2.

Miller wouldn't go down easily and took Parkston into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-20, 25-15, 21-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton had to endure a six-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Platte/Geddes 3-0 on Tuesday.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-9.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's win bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Miller, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.

Miller was able to grind out a solid win over Mt. Vernon/Plankinton in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Rustlers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
