Volleyball Recap: Winnebago Indians vs. Omaha Nation Chiefs

Winnebago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Omaha Nation Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

Winnebago took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Miliani Bass paced Winnebago's offense, picking up five kills. Bass got some help from Cassidy Bass and her eight assists. Cassidy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Winnebago's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Omaha Nation, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
