Soccer Game Preview: A.C. Flora vs. South Pointe

The A.C. Flora Falcons will head out to challenge the South Pointe Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (A.C. Flora has six straight wins, South Pointe has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

On Tuesday, A.C. Flora had just enough and edged out Richland Northeast 2-1. That's two games straight that A.C. Flora have won by just one goal.

Shep Huggins and Hollis Craven scored both of A.C. Flora's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, South Pointe came up short against York last Wednesday and fell 3-1.

A.C. Flora's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matchups. As for South Pointe, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
