Basketball Recap: Charlotte Christian Takes a Loss

Charlotte Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. The matchup between the Knights and the SouthLake Christian Academy Eagles didn't end well, with the Knights falling 47-33. The Knights were down 32-12 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Charlotte Christian still got an impressive performance from Caroline Coles, who posted 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Abigail Bellis was another key player, putting up eight points.

Charlotte Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Charlotte Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for SouthLake Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cape Fear Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
