Volleyball Recap: Ladue Horton Watkins Takes a Loss

Ladue Horton Watkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Parkway West Longhorns. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Longhorns when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Ladue Horton Watkins sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-11, 22-25, 25-18, 18-25, 15-6.

Ladue Horton Watkins' loss dropped their record down to 6-16-1. As for Parkway West, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 17-10-3.

Coincidentally, Ladue Horton Watkins and Parkway West will both be playing Parkway Central the next time they take the court. The Longhorns will host the Colts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Rams will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
