Meanwhile, Pawnee Heights came into Thursday's contest having lost 14 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Satanta by a score of 54-43 on Thursday. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bucklin pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Pawnee Heights, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-13.

Bucklin took their victory against Pawnee Heights when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 52-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bucklin since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
