After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lee's Summit North, Lutheran North was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They took down the Jennings Warriors 65-47. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Crusaders' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Warriors are ranked 285th).

Lutheran North pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points over those games. As for Jennings, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lutheran North and Non Varsity Opponent will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Jennings, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Burroughs at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
