Football Recap: Shiloh Christian's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

If Shiloh Christian was feeling good fresh off their 72-0 takedown of Bethany last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints took a 35-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenwood Bulldogs on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 61-35 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Shiloh Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Max Eldridge, who rushed for 114 yards and three TDs. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cole Creighton, who threw for 208 yards and one touchdown.

Shiloh Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Silas Nantze and Aj Ylanan. Corbin Miller was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making nine total tackles.

Wesley Raggio had an outrageously good game for Greenwood as he rushed for 115 yards and a pair of scores. Those 115 rushing yards gave Raggio a new career-high. Kane Archer was another key player, rushing for 45 yards and one TD.

Shiloh Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Greenwood, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Shiloh Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-41 victory against Mountain Home on the 3rd. As for Greenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 50-13 win against Russellville on the 3rd.
