Walnut Grove had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Greene County Tigers.

Leading Walnut Grove to victory were Bella Johnson and Scout Peterson. Johnson had 16 aces and ten assists, while Peterson had 15 aces and two assists. Those 16 aces gave Johnson a new career-high. Lena Battenfeld also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Walnut Grove's record is now 22-9. As for Greene County, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Walnut Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Social Circle on the 18th. As for Greene County, they will face off against Providence Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
