Plano East and Flower Mound squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Plano East had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 4-2. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Plano East saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Lee, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Plano East's defeat dropped their record down to 27-10. As for Flower Mound, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7-1 record this season.

While Plano East had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
