Football Recap: Northview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Northview extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They had to suffer through a 56-21 loss at the hands of the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drew Beane, who threw for 214 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. Cade Zeman was in the mix as well, providing Northview with two TDs.

As for St. Pius X Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering their considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while Northview is ranked 428th).

Dexter Mosley had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 97 yards on only seven carries, and also threw for 32 yards and one touchdown.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northview is set to challenge their familiar foe Marist at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, St. Pius X Catholic will take on rival Druid Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
