Preview: San Benito Greyhounds vs. Los Fresnos Falcons
The San Benito Greyhounds will head out on the road to challenge the Los Fresnos Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Los Fresnos entered their tilt with Hanna with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Los Fresnos narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Hanna 72-69. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Los Fresnos relied on the efforts of Jj Salazar, who scored 24 points along with six assists, and Gio Galvan, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 13 rebounds, and ten assists. Galvan has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. Dylan Cervantes was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

San Benito barely slipped by Los Fresnos when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 49-48. Will San Benito repeat their success, or does Los Fresnos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
