Baseball Game Preview: Cameron County Raiders vs. Oswayo Valley Green Wave

The Cameron County Raiders will challenge the Oswayo Valley Green Wave at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Cameron County managed to slip by Port Allegany the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders came up short against the Gators on Monday, falling 13-3. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly ten runs.

Cameron County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Narby, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another was Ryan Shaffer, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Oswayo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 15-4 to Cowanesque Valley.

Cameron County's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Oswayo Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
