Soccer Recap: Franklin County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lawrence County on Monday, Franklin County came back down to earth. The Rebels fell just short of the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

Franklin County's loss dropped their record down to 8-5-3. As for Shelbyville Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season.

Franklin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shelbyville Central, they will take on Blackman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
