Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edison can now relate to. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pryor Tigers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Beckett Greteman was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Edison is 12-1 when Greteman posts two or more runs, but 14-15 otherwise.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 26-16. As for Pryor, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-7.
