Basketball Recap: Legacy Takes a Loss

Legacy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the John Carroll Catholic Rams.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John Carroll Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nathan Jackson, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Arthur Jackson, who posted 11 points.

Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for John Carroll Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Legacy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sebastian River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for John Carroll Catholic, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Lincoln Park Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Greyhounds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.76 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
