Soccer Recap: Fabens Comes Up Short

Fabens's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Austin Panthers. The Wildcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Fabens' defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Austin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Fabens duke it out with the Clint at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fabens is facing Clint at the right time seeing as Clint is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Austin, they will face off against Ysleta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
