Basketball Recap: Pilot Rock's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Imbler, Pilot Rock was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-26 win over the Griswold Grizzlies. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 44-41 victory the Grizzlies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Pilot Rock's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12. As for Griswold, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.

Pilot Rock will face off against Nixyaawii Community at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Griswold, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-21 defeat against Echo on the 25th.
