Hopkinsville fell to Graves County 55-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Apollo and Ohio County played the most contested game in 5A District 1 this week, with Apollo eventually emerging with a 28-22 victory.

The Eagles' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Peyton Puckett threw for 205 and 4 touchdowns and Jake Williams had 84 yards receiving. On the ground Cody Crider contributed 220 yards. Joey Marshall helped Graves County's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 45 yards.

Crider was a beast in the backfield as Graves County defeated the Tigers.

He went 11-17 with 0 interceptions.

Crider was a passing and rushing force as Lance Gregory's team defeated Hopkinsville. Crider's key target this week was Williams, who caught 4 passes for 84 yards.

Puckett put up the best numbers in passing as the Eagles bested Marc Adam Clark's team.

Graves County's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Puckett has thrown for 1,826 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, while Williams has 38 catches for 653 yards.

Jamarius Taylor of the Christian County is just 37 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Taylor has rushed for 963 yards on 126 carries so far this year.

Going into this week's game against Marshall County, Graves County's Puckett needs 174 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
