Softball Recap: Hudson Falls Comes Up Short

Granville hit Hudson Falls with a six-run fourth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers fell 8-5 to the Golden Horde. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Horde apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

Hayley Kilmartin was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI and one triple. That triple was her first of the season.

Hudson Falls has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Granville, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Hudson Falls will host Broadalbin-Perth at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Granville, they will take on Schuylerville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
