Football Recap: Fletcher's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Fletcher was feeling good fresh off their 35-6 takedown of Atlantic Coast last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The match between the Senators and the Nease Panthers didn't end well, with the Senators falling 22-6. The Senators lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 39-0 score last time.

Despite the loss, Fletcher still got an impressive performance from Jah'Myri Jennings, who rushed for 87 yards and one TD, and also picked up 32 receiving yards.

Enrique Ordo?ez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Nease, rushing for 192 yards and one score while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Ordo?ez is now averaging an impressive 111.5 rushing yards per game. Brayden Felder did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fletcher fell to 3-1. As for Nease, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fletcher will square off against Sandalwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nease, they will host St. Augustine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Yellow Jackets have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
