Basketball Recap: Winnebago Comes Up Short

Winnebago lost against Wayne back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Winnebago Indians took a hard 57-40 fall against the Wayne Blue Devils.

Wayne can attribute much of their success to Haley Kramer, who posted 20 points and five boards. Kramer is becoming a predictor of Wayne's success: when she posts at least 15 points the team is 7-1 (and 5-12 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Frank, who earned eight points.

Winnebago's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Wayne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-13.

Winnebago does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wayne, they have already played their next contest, a 53-39 defeat against Arlington on the 18th.
