Pequannock is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Cresskill 2-1.

Meanwhile, Wallkill Valley never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on New Milford with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Wallkill Valley and bumps their season record up to 15-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Pequannock, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.

Pequannock took their victory against Wallkill Valley in their previous meeting back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 11-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
