Meanwhile, Staunton suffered their closest loss since April 30, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Riverheads by a score of 6-4. The Storm haven't had much luck with the Gladiators recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Wilson Memorial has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Staunton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
