Baseball Recap: Walhalla Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Walhalla was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to the Belton-Honea Path Bears. The defeat continues a trend for the Razorbacks in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost seven in a row.

Walhalla saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was River Boyd, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Belton-Honea Path, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

While Walhalla had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
