Belle Vernon put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Laurel Highlands Mustangs 9-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-4 on Wednesday.

Lucas Judy made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Seth Tomalski, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Alonzo Wade was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Belle Vernon was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Laurel Highlands only posted a batting average of .242.

Belle Vernon pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Laurel Highlands, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
