Soccer Game Preview: Cypress Park vs. Bridgeland

The Cypress Park Tigers will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Bridgeland Bears at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bridgeland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past Cypress Springs 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bears' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 298th, while the Panthers are ranked 107th).

The win snapped Bridgeland's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3-2 record. As for Cypress Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
