Baseball Recap: Tara Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Tara's offense. They lost 15-0 to the West Feliciana Saints on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Tara's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for West Feliciana, they pushed their record up to 13-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Tara will venture away from home to challenge Broadmoor at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Buccaneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.57 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for West Feliciana, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Plaquemine at 6:00 p.m.
