Basketball Game Preview: Seckinger Jaguars vs. Johns Creek Gladiators

The Seckinger Jaguars will venture away from home to square off against the Johns Creek Gladiators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seckinger knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Johns Creek likes a good challenge.

Seckinger is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Roswell just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 79-72 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Jaguars came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Hornets are ranked 212th).

Meanwhile, Johns Creek came up short against Milton on Friday and fell 63-56.

Seckinger's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Johns Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Seckinger came out on top in a nail-biter against Johns Creek in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 53-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seckinger since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
