Soccer Game Preview: Marshall vs. O'Connor

The Marshall Rams will venture away from home to face off against the O'Connor Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Marshall turned things around against Brennan on Friday. They beat the Bears by a goal, winning 2-1. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rams' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 479th, while the Bears are ranked 144th).

Meanwhile, O'Connor hasn't lost a match since January 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Neither they nor Brennan could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The Panthers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. With that draw, O'Connor's record moves to 5-3-2.
