Lowville has won five straight games at home, while General Brown has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Red Raiders will welcome the Lions at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

On Tuesday, Lowville sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over Sandy Creek. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Raiders have posted against the Comets since May 3, 2017.

General Brown came out on top against Carthage on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Lions won by a run and slipped past the Comets 9-8. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by just one run.

Carlee Hamilton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Hamilton wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Mcmanaman, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Ryanne Leone also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
