Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thunderbird). They blew past the Greenway Demons 16-0 on Thursday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Titans with their most commanding win of the season.
Patrick Ramon made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Matt Hornburg was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.
