Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lone Jack walked away with it. They came out on top against the Stover Bulldogs by a score of 42-30 on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for the Mules, who have now won eight matchups in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Stover lost, don't look at Ashlyn Pinzke. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Pinzke a new career-high in blocks (five). Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Black, who posted six points and seven boards.

Lone Jack's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points on average over those games. As for Stover, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-3.
