Basketball Recap: Russell Comes Up Short

If Russell was feeling good fresh off their 59-32 takedown of Belgrade last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Russell Rustlers received a blow on Friday as they fell 63-48 to the Skyview Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-37 two weeks ago.

Russell's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Skyview, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russell will face off against Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyview, they will host Billings West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Billings West knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Skyview likes a good challenge.
