Volleyball Recap: East Prairie Comes Up Short

East Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ellington Whippets.

East Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ellington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

East Prairie has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against New Haven on the 12th. As for Ellington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Scott City on the 12th.
