Softball Recap: Dublin Lions vs. Comanche Indians
Dublin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Comanche Indians, falling 18-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 back in March.
Dublin saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Salyer, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Adriana Stewart was another, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
Dublin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Comanche, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.
Coming up, Dublin will take on Breckenridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Buckaroos have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Comanche, they will face off against Millsap at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
