Basketball Recap: St. Joseph-Ogden Comes Up Short

St. Joseph-Ogden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-32 bruising from the Auburn Trojans. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in February of 2020.

St. Joseph-Ogden's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Auburn, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

St. Joseph-Ogden has already played their next matchup (against Rantoul), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Auburn will challenge Pleasant Plains at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Pleasant Plains will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Auburn surely won't give up without a fight.
