Baseball Recap: Knob Noster Takes a Loss

Odessa hit Knob Noster with a eight-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered against the Bulldogs since April 13, 2021.

Knob Noster saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Eames, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Oliver Defenbaugh was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Knob Noster now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Odessa, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
