Volleyball Game Preview: Vista Grande Spartans vs. Canyon del Oro Dorados

Vista Grande hasn't had much luck against Canyon del Oro recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Spartans will venture away from home to face off against the Dorados at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Vista Grande came up short against Douglas on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Vista Grande was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-22, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Canyon del Oro came up short against Mountain View on Monday and fell 3-1.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 14-13. As for Vista Grande, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

Vista Grande might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Canyon del Oro in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
