Volleyball Recap: Baton Rouge Takes a Loss

The Baton Rouge Bulldogs came up short against Haynes Academy on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Baton Rouge was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Haynes Academy work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 28-26, 25-15.

Haynes Academy can attribute much of their success to Ella Feehan, who had 19 digs and three assists. Feehan has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Baton Rouge's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Haynes Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baton Rouge will venture away from home to square off against Denham Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Haynes Academy, they will head out to challenge Riverside Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
