Football Game Preview: Treynor Cardinals vs. Tri-Center Trojans

Treynor and Tri-Center are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2016, but not for long. The Cardinals will host the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Tri-Center will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Treynor extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Cardinals put the hurt on Underwood with a sharp 37-12 win. Considering the Cardinals have won four games by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tri-Center). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 71-0 victory over Red Oak.

Tri-Center's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Treynor, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Treynor came up short against Tri-Center in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, falling 27-21. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
