Volleyball Recap: Wood Comes Up Short

Wood lost against Vacaville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-20.

Wood's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Vacaville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Wood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Vanden on the 7th. As for Vacaville, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against River City on the 7th.
