Volleyball Recap: Clear Lake Takes a Loss

Clear Lake lost against Osceola back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Chieftains.

Emma Zauft paced Clear Lake's offense, picking up four kills. Zauft were helped by Ayla Monson and Taryn Niles, who contributed four assists each. Alissa Burbach controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Clear Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Osceola, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Clear Lake and Osceola will both be playing Spooner the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Rails at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Chieftains will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
